MYKONOS’ TOP BEACHES
Psarou Beach (3.5 km, 7 minutes by car): Psarou beach is the most wind-protected beach of the island, due to its unique location. Apart from the blue water and white sand, you will meet both businessmen and celebrities from all around the world. The famous Nammos Bar/Restaurant adds luxury to the beach with its amazing service, unique quality of food, drinks, fun music and daily parties.
Panormos Beach (6 km, 10 minutes by car): On the north side of the island, you will face this long and relaxing beach. Panormos is not organized (no umbrellas or sunbeds) but offers you a great feeling of freedom and relaxation. Two lovely and stylish bar/restaurants serve this remote area
Kalo Livadi (10 km, 14 minutes by car): Situated at the lower end of a long open valley, Kalo Livadi is one of the southern beaches. As soon as you dive in, you feel that you are in a swimming pool due to the clear water and its unique color. Sol-Y-Mar, the bar/restaurant at the left side of the beach is one of the best beach bars on the island, with loud pop music and guarantees a good time!
Elia Beach (12 km, 15 minutes by car): Characterized as the ‘gay beach of the island’ Gorgeous men are everywhere… Amazing blue waters… maybe the best in the island.
Agios Ioannis Beach (5 km, 7 minutes by car): Agios Ioannis is a lovely beach with the Hippie Fish restaurant. It is a south beach where the sun stays forever.
Paraga Beach (8 km, 10 minutes by car): Set in a picturesque landscape, the restaurants and music beach bars on Paraga beach help to create a holiday atmosphere for not only its daily visitors but for those who chose to stay in its hotels and well organized camping facilities. Public transportation to the beach is supplied by a regular bus service from town and a frequent boat service from Platis Yialos beach
